Presented Hetero-EUCLID at WCCM-ECCOMAS 2026 @ Munich, Germany

I presented our work Hetero-EUCLID: Interpretable Model Discovery for Heterogeneous Hyperelastic Materials Using Stress-Unsupervised Learning at WCCM-ECCOMAS 2026, the 17th World Congress on Computational Mechanics and 10th European Congress on Computational Methods in Applied Sciences and Engineering, held in Munich, Germany (19–24 July 2026).

The talk was part of the technical session MS132A: Machine Learning and AI in Constitutive Modeling of Complex Materials, and covered our framework for inverse characterization of heterogeneous hyperelastic materials: segmenting a heterogeneous domain and identifying the constitutive behavior of each constituent from full-field displacement and boundary force data.

I am grateful to my advisor Prof. Akshay Joshi and co-authors Prof. Siddhant Kumar and Saurav Dutta for their guidance and support. I also thank the Anusandhan National Research Foundation (ANRF) for the International Travel Support (ITS) grant that made this participation possible.
